## Abstract The chemical composition of the leaf volatile oils of __Callitris intratropica__ from two different regions in Nigeria were investigated by GC and GCβMS. The essential oils comprised mainly monoterpenoids (93.0β95.9%), while sesquiterpenoids constituted the minor components (1.4β4.4%).

Volatile oils obtained by hydrodistillation of the tubers of two varieties (brown and black) of Cyperus esculentus L. (Cyperaceae) were analyzed by GC and GC-MS. Nine and 11 compounds, representing 91.7-99.7% of the total volatile oils were identified, respectively, from the brown and black varietie
The steam-distilled volatile oil of the cinnamon fruit (Cinnamomum zeylanicum Blume) grown at Karnataka and Kerala (south India) has been analysed by GC and GCΒ±MS. It consists of hydrocarbons (32.8% and 20.8%) and oxygenated compounds (63.7% and 73.4%). Thirty-four compounds representing more than 9
