A dozen mutants of Succhnroniyces cerevisiue, resistant to C8-ATC have been characterized. CR-ATC was previously established as a biologically toxic compound. Frequency of mutants (lo-') was typical for spontaneou? mutations. One very stable mutant was characterized extensively. The genetical analys
