✦ Synopsis

Dithallium phthalocyanine (Tl 2 Pc) has been synthesized from pure Tl metal and ophthalodinitrile. The isolated compound was characterized by elemental analysis, X-ray powder diffraction, electron diffraction and EDX spectroscopy. Based on these results, the compound synthesized by the present method was concluded to be Tl 2 Pc. The electrical conductivity of this powdery Tl 2 Pc was measured and it exhibited the semiconductive property, in contrast with a previous report.

Dithallium phthalocyanine (Tl 2 Pc) was synthesized by direct reaction of Tl metal with 1,2dicyanobenzene. A thin film of the product was prepared by vacuum deposition on KCl single-crystalline substrate and its structure and epitaxy were examined by electron microscopy. The crystal structure of the

The temperature dependence of electrical conductivity of CuIr 2 S 4 has been measured. In the range 4.2-50 K the conductivity can be described in terms of the Mott law, while in the range 50-200 K the experimental data are best described in terms of a small polaron model, taking into account the inf

## Abstract The steady‐state (d.c.) electrical conductivity of polypropylene has been measured as a function of temperature (25–150Β°C.) and field strength (0–94 kv./cm.). The temperature coefficient of the conductivity is 34.6 kcal./mole expressed as an activation energy. This is much larger than t
