## Abstract Methods are described which make possible the production of foot‐and‐mouth disease (FMD) virus from BHK 21 C13 monolayer cells which have been grown on the surface of serum coated DEAE Sephadex A50 beads. The yield of cells and their susceptibility to infection by FMD virus are equivale
