A computerized system for precision measurement of any sensor in the range 1.8-320 K is described. Thin-film platinum sensors are investigated in the temperature range 5-300 K. A certain number of thermal cycles and an ageing process were found necessary to maintain a reproducibility of less than +5 mK in this region. 01996
