In this study, oscillatory phenomena in He II during noisy film boiling are studied by the aid of temperature and pressure oscillations measurements. Temperature oscillation in He II is measured by a superconductor temperature sensor, and pressure oscillation by a pressure sensor. A strong correlati

โฆ Synopsis
There are two basic ยฎlm boiling modes: noisy ยฎlm boiling and silent ยฎlm boiling, and also a transition boiling in He II. Pressure oscillations during boiling show that there are sharp dierences among them. Chaotic analysis method is introduced into the analysis of ยฎlm boiling. Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT) results reveal that ยฎlm boiling has highly non-linear characteristics. Time series analysis, power density spectrum and state-space can reveal a dynamic aspect of ยฎlm boiling of He II in time domain and frequency domain. And further more, Lyapunov exponent provides a convenient way to get a whole dynamic trend of ยฎlm boiling in He II.
