Issues of time, development and (natural) course have always attracted me, not only now at the turn both of the century and the second millenium where there is a proliferation of (sometimes obscure) books on time. There is a dearth of treatment studies in AN, in sharp contrast to BN. However, Russe

β¦ Synopsis
The first editorials from each of the incoming editors of the Human Resource Development Quarterly (HRDQ) addressed the topic of change, either directly or indirectly. Dick Swanson, for example, implied that one of the roles of this journal was to change the profession. Thus, he wrote, "Without seriously studying and reflecting on our profession and without developing sound theories to explain and challenge our practice, we will continue to repeat our experiences without learning from them" (Swanson, 1990, p. 1). The implication is that, in order to learn and change, we must first undertake serious study and reflection and then write about that study and reflection. Gary McLean went even further in his first editorial. He wrote, "Transitions. Change. The very core of organizational development. A core area of human resource development" (McLean, 1994, p. 1). Ron Jacobs, in an editorial entitled "Change to Stay the Same," wrote that "because of HRDQ on or about 1990 the character of the HRD field changed" (1998, p. 1). But he continued, "I have been guided by the concept of homeostasis, from systems theory, which simply means 'change to stay the same'" ( p. 1).

This paper explores age-related performance variability, both within trials and between sessions, in repetitive hopping. The mean, the standard deviation (SD), and the coefficient of variation (CV) of several timing and ground-reaction-force variables of hopping were analysed by repeated-measures AN
Interest development is not an easily studied process. There are at least 4 methods for examining the process of stability and change over time: relative stability, absolute stability, profile stability, and structural stability. A program of research that focuses on examining these 4 types of stabi
