The contract to operate and manage the line after it is delivered is with Celestica, an experienced operator of high-speed, high-volume automated manufacturing lines. This three-year contract provides for Celestica to operate the line out of its facility in Ireland, where it will also operate the fuel production facility.
Medis initiated its national design contest to encourage submission of designs for its Power Pack that are 'aspirational, cool and sleek.' The competition's winner, Antonio Russomanno, submitted a design that was judged to exhibit these qualities.
