Die Krone muss passen: Kationische Ge^II^‐Komplexe lassen sich mit Kronenethern zum Stabilisieren und Schützen des Germaniumzentrums herstellen. Drei verschiedene Kronenether wurden eingesetzt: [12]Krone‐4 (siehe Struktur, Ge türkis, O rot, C grau), [15]Krone‐5 und [18]Krone‐6.
