✦ Synopsis
The crystal structure of [HgBr 2 (Pyo)] n (Pyo = pyridazine, C 4 H 4 N 2 ) consists of strands of octahedrally coordinated mercuric centers asymmetrically bridged by bromide and connected by the two neighboring N atoms of pyridazine molecules to complete the octahedral coordination of mercury. The Hg atoms lie on inversion centers.

The crystal structure of [HgBr 2 (Pyp) 2 ] n (Pyp = pyrazine, C 4 H 4 N 2 ) consists of almost linear HgBr 2 molecules which are linked by pyrazine molecules to form double strands of a coordination polymer in the [010] direction. The Hg and Br atoms lie on mirror planes.
In the title compound, [ZnCl~2~(C~12~H~10~N~2~)]~__n__~, the Zn^II^ ion displays a tetrahedral coordination geometry. Each 1,2-di-4-pyridylethylene ligand is located on an inversion center and bridges Zn^II^ ions, forming a zigzag polymeric chain. Weak C—H...Cl hydrogen bonding is observed in the cr
The title compound, [NiCl 2 (C 12 H 12 N 2 )] n , is a nickel complex polymer bridged by 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethane ligands. The Ni II center is coordinated in a distorted tetrahedral geometry by two Cl ligands and two N atoms from two 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethane ligands, forming a one-dimensional zigzag
The title complex, [Hg~2~Br~4~(C~7~H~16~S~2~)]~n~, has a chain structure. Two bridging Br atoms and two terminal Br atoms coordinate to two Hg^II^ atoms, forming an (HgBr~2~)~2~ dimer, which is located on an inversion center. The 1,3-bis(ethylsulfanyl)propane ligands, which lie on a twofold axis, br
