โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
We prepared polyacrylonitrileโpalladium(PANโPd) complexes in which palladium is coordinated with approximately 2 nitrile groups and has a mixed valency (Pd(0) + Pd(I) + Pd(II)). The complexes contain small palladium aggregates (diameter ca. 50 ร ) which are rather stable due to the coordination of palladium to the polymer. The PANโPd complexes are highly active and stable catalysts for the oxidation of olefins in the presence of cocatalysts like CuCl~2~ยท2H~2~O. They could be recycled 5 times without loss of activity in the oxidation of 1โheptene.
