Catalytic activities of o-chymotrypsin and subtilisin
Car&berg for transesterification of N-acetyl-L-tyrosine methyl ester in ethanol markedly increased by decreasing the amount of the enzymes in the reaction mixtures. The results were kinetically attributed to changes in KM and k,,, due to formation of smaller enzyme aggregates.
