โฆ Synopsis
Hospital Publishing, Inc., a subsidiary of the American Hospital Association.
For many years, the society had hoped to develop a text for professionals new to the field of health care risk management. In January 1988, the ASHRM Communication and Resources Committee formed a task force to plan the book, develop the content, and recruit writers (many of whom are ASHRM members). Over the course of two years, the nearly impossible was accomplished: 31 authors contributed to the 500-page text, the work for which was supported by innumerable reviewers and support staff. Complete with forms, tables, appendixes, lists of resources, and an index, the Handbook will provide an invaluable source of information to the new risk manager as well as a comprehensive resource for the experienced professional.
To meet the authors who contributed so much time, experience, and effort to the successful completion of the Handbook, please come to the gala Authors' Champagne Reception on Wednesday, October 17, at 500 p.m. in Dallas! The book will be displayed at the annual conference, where order forms complete with costs for shipping and handling will be available. Brochures and order forms will also be mailed to you very soon. Be among the first in your field to purchase the definitive text for health care risk managers!
