## Abstract Evidence from laboratory studies suggests that chronic inflammation plays an important role in prostate cancer aetiology. This has resulted in speculation that nonsteroidal anti‐inflammatory drugs may protect against prostate cancer development. We analysed data from a cross‐sectional c
