## Summary Over the past 50βyears the incidence of anesthesiaβrelated cardiac arrest has declined, despite increased patient coβmorbidities, the most significant determinant of anesthetic risk. Multiple factors have contributed to this improvement including safer anesthetic agents, better monitorin
