## Abstract A capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) method with preceding cationic transient capillary isotachophoresis (tCITPโCZE) was developed for uncoated fusedโsilica capillaries to analyze metalโbinding proteins (MBPs) of clinical relevance. UV detection was followed by mass spectrometry (MS).

Capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) coupled with an on-line mass spectrometric (MS) detection system by an atmospheric pressure electrospray ionization (ESI) interface has been used successfully for separations of peptide and protein mixtures. For CZE-MS, ESI produces multiply charged molecular ion
A simple interface between a capillary supercritical fluid chromatograph and an Extranuclear Simulscan mass spectrometer is described. The SFC column is directly inserted into the ion source through the existing GC-interface. The system is equipped with a splitting device which allows simultaneous E
