✦ Synopsis
On the basis of the vapour pressure of 3He--4He mixtures, partly measured directly by S o m m e r s and by W a n s i n k et al. and partly calculated from the osmotic pressure data obtained by W a n s i n k and Taconis, the change of the Gibbs-function of the mixture with concentration has been calculated in the temperature region between 1.2 and 1.9°K at concentrations up to 7% 3He. The entropy, enthalpy and specific heat of mixing are given in comparison with experimental data. The phase separation at low temperatures and the mechanocaloric effect of 3He--4He mixtures are calculated.
