We calculate the Hall constant RH(e~, T) for the high T~ materials Laz\_xSrxCuO 4 and YBa2Cu3Ov-x using the 2D Hubbard model, on a cluster of dimension (2 ร 3). Close to half filling, at low temperatures and high frequency, we find that Rn(~/3) is electronlike in the weak correlation regime and in t

The calculation of the angular propagation constant for a bend requires the solution of the equation J',(x) Y~(px) -J',(px) Y'v(x) = 0 for v. Methods of solution, which have been proposed, are outlined and their limitations are discussed. A simple computer method, suitable for BAsic language, the ma
