## Abstract A systemic availability study comparing an investigational buffered tablet formulation of oxyphenbutazone and a commercially available product, the efficacy of which has been well established by usage, is reported. The experiment was designed to dissociate formulation factors from all o

β¦ Synopsis
A kinetic study of ornithine carbamyl transferase (OCT) from Streptococcus faecalis has been carried out, employing a new HPLC method based on the direct determination of citrulline. A different kinetic pattern was observed in tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane (TRIS) and triethanolamine (TEA) buffers: a ping-pong or an ordered sequential mechanism are suggested, respectively. The inhibition of Tris buffer on OCT reaction has also been demonstrated. The inhibition of Tris buffer on OCT reaction has also been demonstrated.

Nitric oxide synthase (NOS) generates nitric oxide (NOβ ) by the oxidation of L-arginine. Spin trapping in combination with electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy using ferro-chelates is considered one of the best methods to detect NOβ in real time and at its site of generation. The spin
Because buffers can act as metal ligands, they can effect several reactions necessary for DNA oxidation by ferric iron and thiols, such as iron reduction. Therefore, these reactions were studied in Hepes and phosphate buffers and unbuffered NaCl. Reduction of Fe β«3β¬ by dithiothreitol (DTT) and cyste
Urea-and glucose-sensitive enxyme field effect transistors (ENFETs) were prepared by cross-linking urease and glucose oxidase, respectively, with bovine serum albumin (BSA) in saturated glutaraldehyde vapour on the gate area of the ISFETs. Additional BSA and polyvinylbutyral membranes were formed by
