The present study is devoted to the mechanical behavior of a class of nanocomposites made up of polypropylene reinforced by montmorillonite clay nanoplatelets. We first performed uniaxial tensile tests which shown that some mechanical characteristics (Young's modulus, yield stress) of the nanocompos
