The Brewster angle concept is generalized to elastic wave reflection from fluid-solid interfaces. For wave incidence from the fluid side, as there can be no incident or reflected SV wave, the Brewster angle is defined as the incident angle for which there is no reflection. It is proved that, in the

β¦ Synopsis
The use of the Brewster angle is proposed for radome windows with plane-polarized aperture antenna systems. Since no frequency-dependent surface layers are required for matching, the frequency performance should be as broadband as the dielectric itself.
