✦ Synopsis
Book Reviews chapter treats 'assessment' in a much broader sense including the full range of investigations and measurements which might be appropriate to each group of individuals. Chapter 13 examines the measurement of human body composition. The final chapter of all is written by the editor and seeks to draw together the foregoing chapters and suggest directions for the future development of assessment techniques.
In conclusion this is a thorough and scholarly review of the available measurement tools for use in the assessment of eating behaviour and individuals with weight-related problems. It is not a theoretical review of assessment issues, but I have no doubt it will prove a very useful tool.
