A novel coupling reagent, benzotriazol-l-ylox-y-N,N-dimethylmethaniminium hexachloreantimonate (BOMI). was synthesized and successfully applied to the synthesis of oligopeptides, the racemization and the influence of several reaction parameters such as solvent, base, as well as temperature were evaluated.
