To examine the associations of three understudied hemostatic factors-D-dimer, factor VIII c , and plasminantiplasmin (PAP) complex-with incident cardiovascular disease (CVD) and all cause mortality in the Multiethnic Study of Atherosclerosis cohort. Hemostatic factors were measured at baseline in 45
