Japan: Merck -pearlescents

Merck is planning to open its second line for the production of Xirallic pigments at Onahama in August 2002. This will bring total capacity for Xirallic pigments here to 200 tonnes/y. Xirallic pigments are alumina-based pearlescent pigments, available in red, silver, gold and copper colours, destined for use mainly in automotive paints.
