In the title compound, [Cd(NO~3~)(C~7~H~7~N~3~O~3~)~2~(H~2~O)]NO~3~, the Cd atom is coordinated by two organic ligands, a water molecule and a nitrate anion. The coordination can be described as distorted pentagonal bipyramidal. Geometric parameters show that the nitrate anion is coordinated in the
