โœฆ Synopsis

Early breast neoplasia may be defined in many ways. Any non-invasive or invasive but nonmetastatic breast cancer qualifies as early neoplasia in the sense that they are non-lethal. Before we can prevent lethal breast cancer, we must gain a better understanding of the biological abnormalities underlying its development and progression. Many studies into the mechanisms of breast cancer evolution have evaluated potential precursor lesions kg., proliferative disease without atypia [PDWA],

Some of these genetic lesions appear early in the breast cancer process and are stable as the tumors become invasive and metastasize. Dr. Liu also p

Transforming growth factor-Pl (TGF-Pl) is a potent growth inhibitor of epithelial cell growth, but can also stimulate stromal cell growth. Loss of responsiveness to TGF-/)l or loss of TGF-P1 itself may be important in the progression of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) to invasive cervical c
