This report demonstrates the formation and characterization of sonochemically prepared bovine serum albumin (BSA)-Gemzar (Gemcitabine) microspheres and shows their increased anticancer activity compared to pristine Gemzar. The amount of loaded Gemzar was determined by light absorption measurements.
