La Saincte Bible nouvellement translate de latin en françois, selon l'édition latine, dernièrement imprimée à Louvain, reveue, corrigée & approuvée par gens sçavants, appelée Bible de Louvain (1550).

Bible complète (Ancien et Nouveau Testament) en français.
Lefèvre d’Étaples se remet à la traduction de l’Ancien Testament et en 1530, il publie à Anvers la première traduction complète de la Bible en français. Ce sont les docteurs de l’Université de Louvain qui donnent leur approbation et cette Bible est publiée avec le privilège de l’empereur Charles Quint.
La version de Lefèvre d’Étaples, quant à elle, a été révisée par les docteurs de l’Université de Louvain qui en publient une nouvelle version dès 1550, puis à nouveau en 1578 dans une révision qui connaît un succès durable.
