Chalcogenoboron hydride structure 1 Adamantane ~ ~ ~~ ______ ~ ~~ [(BH6)&]*-. [[BH2)&e,l2-: New Chalcogenoboron Hydride Anions with Adamantane Structure The reaction of THF . BH3/NaBH4 (2: 1) with H2S produces yields 4a and polymers. 3a and 4a react with CsBr to form the Na[H3B-p2-S(B2H,)] (5) with hydrogen evolution. 5 reacts with crystalline compounds Cs,[(BH&S,] . CsBr (3 b) and Cs2an excess of H2S to give Na2[(BH2)&] (3a), which is also [(BH2)6Se4] . CsBr (4b), characterized by X-ray structure deterformed in the reaction of THF . BH3 with NaSH or anhydrous minations. The anions of 3 b and 4 b consist of an adamantane Na,S. These reactions proceed via 5 and the intermediates 7 skeleton.
