✦ Synopsis


An amperometric enzyme sensor for the analysis of D-lysine is described. The sensor uses benzoquinone as mediator for electron transfer between immobilized D-amino acid oxidase and a glassy carbon electrode. A linear current response, proportional to D-lysine concentration in the range 1Β±10 mM, was observed. The inΒ―uence of oxygen, pH, and operating potential on the sensor performance were examined.
