✦ Synopsis

The title compound, C 13 H 11 ClN 2 O, was obtained as the product of our attempted synthesis of biologically active compounds containing oxime ether and pyridyl groups. Intermolecular C-HÁ Á ÁN hydrogen bonds link molecules into a linear structure and contribute to the stability of the molecular configuration. In addition, C-HÁ Á Á hydrogen bonds are observed in the crystal structure.
