A Contribution to Skull Measurements in In/antile Oxycephaly An Evaluation o] 200 Radiographs Summary. Two dimensional skull measurements were conducted by radiography in 253 children with normal skulls and 100 children with oxycephaly. For this, nine straight dimensions and five angular readings were used as suggested by BEnGER-HOFF and H6BLER, also SCHMID and FILTtIUTH. The thus recorded values were classified according to age groups, were compared and discussed. Typical changes in oxycephM consisted of a shortened upward slope of the anterior base of the skull, growth increase in heigh~ of lhe skull, a flattening of the oeeiput and decrease of the bitemporal diameter as well as a reduction in the curvature of the vertex. The importance of this deformity was discussed.
