## Abstract The Bayes factor is a summary measure that provides an alternative to the __P__βvalue for the ranking of associations, or the flagging of associations as βsignificantβ. We describe an approximate Bayes factor that is straightforward to use and is appropriate when sample sizes are large.

β¦ Synopsis
The form of a Bayes p-value is given when the loss function in a testing problem with a point null is an increasing function of the p-value. A complete class result and an essentially complete class result are given.

Bayes estimates under both modified symmetric and asymmetric loss functions are obtained for the reliability function of the extreme value distribution (EV1) using Lindley's approximation procedure. These estimates are compared to each others and to maximum likelihood estimates (MLE) using simulatio
We derive an approximation to the null distribution of Fisher's statistic for combining p-values when the underlying test statistics are jointly distributed as multivariate t with common denominator. Applications to testing problems involving order-restricted parameters are brie y discussed.
Let X be the projective line minus 0; 1; and N over Q p : The aim of the following is to give a series representations of the p-adic multi-zeta values in the depth two quotient. The approach is to use the lifting FΓ°zΓ ΒΌ z p of the frobenius which is not a good choice near 1, but which gives simple f
