Abstract
Novel slotβfed dielectric resonator antenna is studied experimentally. The antenna is comprised of a rectangular dielectric resonator and a mictrostrip fed coupling slot. The multiband resonances of the two radiators i.e., slot and dielectric resonator are combined to extend the antenna bandwidth. Dielectric resonator of three different thicknesses is studied, providing a bandwidth of 49.25%. The radiation patterns are measured and are presented. Β© 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract In this paper, we present a new configuration which enhances the impedance bandwidth (we obtain an increase of 80%) and exhibits dualβfrequency operation. The characteristics of the new structure are measured and discussed. Β© 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 42: 4
A novel hybrid antenna structure that combines a rectangular dielectric resonator and a CPW-fed slot with tuning stub is proposed. The proposed antenna is designed to resonate at the lower (2.4 GHz) and upper (5.3 GHz) 802.11 WLAN frequency bands, respectively. Comparisons between the simulation and
band-stop filter can be made more compact by using only one array of SRRs in the ground plane centered under the microstrip line. A study has also been made with regard to the precision of the milling process so as to show that the dimensions of the SRRs play a crucial role in determining the frequ
## Abstract A microstrip line coupled dielectric resonator antenna with an inclined and offset slot in the common ground plane has been analyzed. Excitation of the TE~111~ mode in this configuration is studied. It is also seen that the slot geometry and offset can be optimized to excite the higher
## Abstract In this paper, a dielectric resonator antenna for dualβfrequency operation is proposed. The proposed antenna is excited by dual 50Ξ© microstriplines and printed in a single metal layer, and therefore is easily constructed. In this design, the operating frequency is mainly controlled by t
