## Abstract An automated system for derivaatization was coupled on‐line with solid‐phase extraction‐gas‐chromatography (SPE‐GC). The system was optimized for the determination of phenol and chlorinated phenols in aqueous samples. The test analytes were acetylated with acetic anhydride; proper buffe
