✦ Synopsis

The Auger spectra of SiH4 have been measured at photon energies of 103.4, 130, and 160 eV. In the resonance (spectator) Auger spectrum, the peaks shift by 6.5 + 0.2 eV to the higher-energy side. The peak intensities for the resonance Auger lines suggest Rydberg character for the 4sa, core-excited state of SiH4.
