The stabilization of a nonlinear, large scale, multivariable, decentralized system with delays in the interconnections is considered. The sujicient stabilization condition is established whereby the system under consideration is always stabilizable, provided the nonlinear parts of the subsystems sat

β¦ Synopsis
A new criterion is established for global asymptotic stability of second-order systems modeled by equations of the type = cr(Ax), where a is the saturation function. The derivation is based on the Bendixon's theorem on limit cycles and a closer study of the trajectories of the systems. Applications to stabilization of more general cascade nonlinear systems are also discussed.

The stability of a general class of saturating nonlinear feedback system-s excited by bounded inputs is investigated. Explicit bounds are obtained on the magnit& and duration of the error signal when it shoots out front the unsaturated zone into the saturation zone. Thus, when the linear plant of th
In this paper, we derive a necessary condition for local asymptotic stability of equilibria of discrete-time nonlinear systems with parameters. Our necessary condition is analogous to the necessary condition obtained by Byrnes and Sundarapandian [1] for local asymptotic stability of equilibria of co
Stability of systems with hysteresis nonlinearities, parametric uncertainty and finite dimensional unmodelled dynamics is considered. Conditions for exponential decay of the signals in the system to an equilibrium position are given. The equilibrium is generally not unique. The stability condition i
