## Abstract Das acyclische Enon (__E__)‐4,6‐Dimethyl‐6‐octen‐3‐on (**1**) ist die Hauptkomponente Abwehrsekrets der Weberknechte __Leiobunum vittatum__ und __L. calcar__ (Opiliones). Beide Enantiomere [(__S__)‐**1** und (__R__)‐**1**] sowie racemisches **1** werden bequem aus Diethylketon **2** und
