✦ Synopsis

The asymmetric hydrogenation of N-tosylimines was accomplished with a catalytic amount of Ru(R)-2,2'-bis(diphenylphosphlno)-l,l'-binaphthyl2 to afford the corresponding amines in high enantiomeric excesses.
