β¦ Synopsis
The influence of inclusion complex formation between cyclodextrins (chiefly the 8-polymer) and a variety of chiral antihistaminic and analgesic agents on the 'H NMR features of both guest and host partners is reported. In many cases equivalent protons of antipodes give resonances which differ in chemical shift after inclusion, and the potential value of the data to chiral analysis and to elucidation of the structures of the inclusion complexes is demonstrated. ## Abstract The influence of Ξ±β, Ξ²β and Ξ³βcyclodextrin (CD) on the ^1^H NMR spectrum of the muscarinic antagonist telenzepine dihydrochloride in D~2~O is reported. Duplication of thienylβH and thienylβMe signals was observed in the presence of Ξ²β and Ξ³βCD, with regard to the minor amido conformer i
Chiral NMR recognition of terpenic and similar hydrocarbons by Ag(fod) and optically active lanthanide shift reagents is descnloed. Twenty-four 'H signals of eight compounds and, as a first report in the literature, eleven I3C signals of three compounds were split into signal pairs due to the respec
Benzoylated and benzylated cyclodextrins give rise to non-spectroscopy. Cyclodextrins bearing aromatic substituents at the primary or secondary sites only are more efficient CSAs equivalence in the 1 H-NMR spectra of racemates of 3,5dinitrophenyl derivatives of chiral amines, amino alcohols, compare
The steady-state kinetics of enzymes in tissues, cells, and concentrated lysates can be characterized using high-resolution nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy; this is possible because almost invariably there are differences in the spectra of substrates and products of a reaction and these spec
