The antidiarrhoeal activity of decoctions of Loeselia mexicana, Teloxys graveolens, Oenothera roseae, Castilleja tenuiflora and Calendula officinalis were tested on diarrhoeic mice induced with castor oil. L. mexicana and O. roseae showed significant diarrhoeal inhibition (62% and 38% respectively),
