✦ Synopsis

The Conference focuses on advanced methods for predicting and preventing the occurrence of defects in manufactured products. As new features, MPD 4 will include the thermo-microstructural origins of these defects and the influence of the process-induced defects on the integrity of structures obtained by solid state, paste state, or fluid state forming.

All conventional and new materials will be considered, as well as all major manufacturing operations. The present Conference aims to provide a forum for the presentation and exchange of innovative approaches in this important field with obvious economic consequences.
