✦ Synopsis
The finite perturbation method is apptied to the calculation of the anisotropy of the indirect nuclear spin-spin coupling constants. For CXQF, all the elements of the tialculated coupling tensors become larger than those reported in Paper I of this series. However. for the C-H coupling anisotropy. the calculated value is still too small to compare with the experimentally estimated value as Iarge as 1890 Hz. It seems that the effects other than the electronic one is important.

## Abstract We present calculations of indirect nuclear spin–spin coupling constants in large molecular systems, performed using density functional theory. Such calculations, which have become possible because of the use of linear‐scaling techniques in the evaluation of the Coulomb and exchange‐cor
Non-empirical calculations using the equations-of-motion approach are reported for iJ( 15Nt5N) in hydrazine, diazene, isodiazene, the azide anion, and nitrogen. Irrespective of the single or multiple nature of the bond between the nitrogens, iJ( isNi5N) should be negative in all compounds. The only
## Abstract Finite perturbation calculations using CNDO/2 wave functions are presented for the determination of ^31^P^13^C and ^31^P^1^H couplings. The calculations were carried out on 46 molecules and a comparison with experimental values is given. The groups of compounds considered were phospho
## Abstract Alterations have been introduced in the semi‐empirical INDO parameters in order to study their influence on the Fermi contact term of the indirect spin–spin coupling constants as calculated by the finite perturbation theory (FPT). For this purpose a set of molecules containing hydrogen,
