## Abstract In this article, the analysis of a symmetrically notch loaded stacked circular disk patch antenna is carried out. It is found that the bandwidth of notch loaded disk antenna depends directly on the notch dimensions. Bandwidth of the notch loaded patch is found to be 27.89%. Stacking of

Abstract
The analysis of half circular disk loaded with symmetrical notches is presented based on circuit concept. The bandwidth is found to depend on the parameters of the notches as well as the width of the central patch. Theoretical results are compared with the simulated results obtained from IE3D, which are found to be in close agreement. Β© 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
