โœฆ Synopsis

Abstract

In this paper, a new logโ€periodic antenna design is investigated using the finiteโ€difference timeโ€domain method. The twoโ€arm, conical logโ€periodic antenna is linearly polarized and has uniform performance characteristics over a broad range of frequencies. It is shown that the shape of the antenna arms has a significant impact on the performance and the bandwidth of the antenna. ยฉ 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
