✦ Synopsis

Wideband operation of a microstrip-fed slot antenna is achie¨ed by arranging the slots in a log-periodic manner. A nine-element log-periodic microstrip slot antenna array operating in the X-band is ( ) designed using the finite-difference time-domain method FDTD . The FDTD results are ¨erified by measurements, and a bandwidth of about 33% is attained.
