✦ Synopsis

For a given feed position, newly derived equations are used to determine the dimensions of a circular-polarized (CP) nearly square patch antenna. It is also shown that for a feed offset from one corner of the patch, the perturbation segment (⌬S) is increased, thereby reducing the effect of manufacturing errors.

## Abstract A novel method of computation of input impedance detected by a feed probe leads to a simple technique of designing a dual‐band dual‐polarized microstrip antenna using a shorting‐pin‐loaded circular patch. The computation of the radiation pattern displays a slant‐polarized antenna, in wh
