โฆ Synopsis
Decreasing power supply voltages are ushering in the era of low voltage / low power integrated circuits. This important field introduces a new set of issues and concerns specific to the development, design, and implementation of technologies, circuits, and systems designed to run on low supply voltages with low power consumption.
A special issue of Analog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing is planned to address these new developments. Coverage will include process technology, device technology, circuit design, and system development. Papers are specifically solicited in the following areas: * Fundamental limits on low voltage IC operation * Scaling issues * Process technologies * Device design and characterization * Low temperature operation * Simulation and TCAD * Analytical device modeling for circuit simulation * Digital, analog, and mixed signal design * Architectural techniques to reduce power consumption * System implementation
