This paper describes the autonomous navigation system of a tracked offroad vehicle manufactured by Modulalre Ltd. Autonomous navigation is performed with the help of a real-time kinematic GPS positioning system and a fibre optical gyro. A mission planning and control unit allows remote mission monit

Abstract
Robotic vehicles operating indoors may be unable to receive the GPS signals that are commonly used for navigational control. This article describes an inexpensive system for location measurement in the absence of GPS with a range of 7.5 m and a resolution of 3 cm for a massβproduced cost of under $100.
